====== The salinity map ======

The salinity map describes the amount and distribution of salt in the water-bodies and water-table within the [[l3dt:reference:maps:wm|water map]]. This data is used to assign the location of land types in the [[l3dt:reference:maps:am|attributes map]], specifically those that are found near the sea (eg. beach sand, foreshore scrub) and those that are found near freshwater (eg. fertile riverbanks).
