====== Importing the texture map ====== If you would like to import your terrain's texture image from an external source (e.g. another program, satellite imagery, etc.), you can do this using the '//File->Import->Texture map//' menu option. This will open a standard Windows file-open window, in which you may choose the texture image to be loaded. As of the time of writing ((March 2009)), the following file formats are supported here: * MMF ([[l3dt:formats:specs:mmf|L3DT mosaic map]], for importing tiled texture maps). * BMP (Bitmap image) * JPG (JPEG image) * PNG (Portable network graphic) * TGA (TrueVision Targa image) * DDS (DirectDraw surface) * PCX (PC Paintbrush Exchange image)
