Hi Everyone,

It is time to decide the winner of the Image of the Month(s) Competition for April and May. There are a lot to choose from this time around (yay!), with nine images submitted by five artists (Demi, DeathTwister, Dennis, myself and Madcowthomas), using five renderers (CrystalSpace, Terragen, TGEA, Sapphire and TGE). You may view all the entries by following the link to the this months entries gallery. One you've made your decision, please vote using the poll above. The poll closes in five days time.

A big thank-you goes out to to all the entrants for sharing their their artistry and technical wizardry with us, and I wish you all the best of luck in the competition.

Cheers,
Aaron.

And the winner is:

Lone Outpost, by Dennis.

I hope everyone will join me in congratulating Dennis on a very fine (and very moody) image. Eternal fame and glory are yours!

As is sometimes customary around here, Dennis now has the right to choose the theme for the next image competition. We keep a log of past and possible future themes over here, but please feel free to be creative.

Finally, I'd like to thank all the entrants one again for their efforts, and wish them the best of luck next time around.

Cheers,
Aaron.

Wow, with such a strong field it is amazing to have received the most votes. All of the entries were fabulous. Congratulations to all on such creativity!

The topic I would like to see is Best In-Game screenshot. Show off the terrain and the stuff that you can use to make it look better. Like textures, foliage, buildings and so on. Wait.. maybe I have that backwards... Oh well, no matter. I can't wait!

Congratulations, Dennis - Nice work there!

I also like your theme suggestion for the next IOTM. If technically possible, I'd love to participate with a DF2 in-game shot...
