Alpha maps and plugins

Hi Everyone,

There's going to be a slight change to the way L3DT handles alpha maps. Previously, L3DT would only export alpha maps, and did not store them as part of the project. Consequently, plugins could not access these alpha maps. This will change in the next release (v2.5b), in which the alpha maps will be stored as part of the project. Thus, plugins will be able to use the alpha maps, and users will also be able to view them (see here). An editor/brush for the alpha maps will be provided in the fullness of time.

The first plugin to make use of this change will probably be L3DTio_Atlas2, which in its next development will support blended TGEA Altas terrains by grabbing the alpha maps from the project map list.
