Thirty eight weeks and counting

Postby Aaron » Sat Jul 16, 2011 1:01 am

Hi All,

My darling wife is expecting our first baby any time now. Consequently, the Bundysoft store will be closing temporarily sometime within the next few weeks, for a somewhat indeterminate period of perhaps up to a fortnight. It is also reasonable to assume that for the next month or two I may not be terribly prompt in dealing with general correspondence (requests, bug reports, etc.), as my main priorities will not be of the software kind. I apologise for any inconvenience felt during this interruption of service.

In other news, a few minor bugs have been reported in L3DT 11.07 beta 1, and I've also made a few tweaks and additions in response to recent requests. These changes will be included in a second beta release of L3DT 11.07, which I will upload within the next few days if the fates allow. If the fates do not allow, then the beta is more likely in early August (as 11.08 beta 2).

Cheerio,
Aaron.

Update: It's a boy!

Exciting times for you no doubt :)

Umm...you might want to change that to "next 18 years or so"

Congratulations!! You may want to try to bank some sleep now, as it will likely be a while before you get a full nights sleep for a while (I have 3 beautiful girls, and I remember walking around like a zombie more than a few days).

Hi All,

Thank you all for your kind regards. Our big baby boy arrived on Sunday, and he and Mum are now home from hospital and doing well. He's sleeping and feeding pretty well, so we're not as strung out as we feared we might be. If all continues as it has for the last few days, we should be in pretty good shape. I may re-open the store some time next week, weather permitting.

Best regards,
Aaron.
