Inactive forum accounts

Forum account activation is now back to normal; users may once again activate their own accounts by following the instructions in the e-mail sent by the forum software. If you registered for an account in the last week (when activations were disabled), I have now sent a reminder to the e-mail address you provided to invite you to activate your account.
I'll allow a week's grace to activate these accounts. However, on next Friday (the 21st), all remaining inactive accounts will be deleted.
The vast majority of the 400 or so accounts affected by this somewhat draconian measure are spambots. For the non-bot uses affected, I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience.
