Just a bit of praise here

I've been using L3DT Professional for over six months now (and L3DT Standard before for even longer), and I just want to say "Thanks!"

This software allows me to work just as I need to work. Practically any terrain I can imagine, I can create in L3DT. And what few things I can't, I can easily export into other 3D software to allow further editing, thanks to L3DT's wide support of file formats. The workflow is fast and the options are endless.

I end up looking like a genius for the results I get, because L3DT allows me to create just what a client wants or a project needs. It has so many simple and smart features like Image Drape and selection mouse mode, and I love working procedurally with the Calculation Wizard while having the option to edit the terrain's layout in 2D and edit the terrain itself in 3D. It makes work a pleasure.

I greatly appreciate the wide range of file formats L3DT supports, including several ones that are hard to generate elsewhere, such as G16-BMP for Unreal Developer Kit, .raw/.r16 for Unity heightmaps, .ter for Terragen and .hfz which (like .ter) contains scale information. I can go between any software a lot better thanks to L3DT.

There are quite a number of features in this program, and I'm still learning some of them, such as the graphs and the climate manager, but they're already looking to be something invaluable. The climate manager in particular is becoming a top feature to me.

And you just have no idea how much I appreciate being able to survey my terrains with a 6 ft. (2 m.) human model cursor for scale reference--I own several professional terrain generation programs, and none of them give me a proper sense of scale like L3DT.

L3DT is simply my turn-to tool for creating game and animation environments, I couldn't get much done without it and I can't thank you enough for this marvelous tool, Aaron! Well worth the investment! :D

If my client allows it, I'll post some of my work here in the forums, once finished. :)

Gee thanks Brian (and Telarus)!

I really appreciate your feedback and encouragement; it's great to hear that L3DT is helping you to get your work done more efficiently. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to make L3DT even better for you.

Best regards,
Aaron.
