Hello

Im editing heightmap that has lots of water and islands in it. The waterlevel is at one specific height so im wondering, would it be possible to determine the max height for the brush tools so it would not edit terrain lets say above 0m.

Thanks for answers!

Hi Tonto,

Thanks for the suggestion; I'll put it on the to-do list. Do you have any priorities in terms of which heightfield tools you would most like to see with this range-limiting feature?

Best regards,
Aaron.

Hi Tonto,

Okay. This shouldn't be terribly hard to do, but it will have to wait until the next release is out, which should be within a few weeks (if all continues well.) There are a couple of other items on the dev plan at the moment, so I can't make any promises as to when it will get done, but i'll be sure to post back here when it's ready for testing. Thanks again for the request, and sorry for the wait.

Best regards,
Aaron.

Hello, Aaron

Can you tell is my suggestion has come any closer to top in your massive to-do pile? :)

Cheers.

Hi Tonto,

I'm really sorry, but there's been no movement on this yet. I've got a couple of work projects going at the moment that mean I'm basically programming day and night, so there's no spare time for L3DT development right now. There won't be much movement on the to-do list until mid October at the earliest.

Best regards,
Aaron.
