Texture Problems , 3D View Messy / Max Zoomed in/ Blob/Blur

I made a custom texture , not going to go into all of the details but here are pictures of some directories ( ask further ) , New to L3DT so Not sure if Im Not Generating textures Properly?

THIS IS THE TEXTURE HERE.. its a cliff so im getting really poor resolution in the 3d editor ? like i said , im new ^_^

Hi d3f3ct3d,

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for the question.

To generate high quality terrain textures, you need to increase the texture resolution in the texture settings wizard, as below:

The 'TX/HF ratio' value determines how much more detailed the texture map will be when compared to the heightmap. Larger values give a more detailed texture. In the link below, you can see the effect of progressively increasing the texture resolution, from 1x to 32x:
