L3DT to UE4 Landscape (workflow for small landscape)

Morning,

I was hoping someone had solved workflow from L3DT to UE4 for say 505m x 505m Landscape. I have generated a 512 x 512 heightfield using CloudCompare from UK Lidar data (i.e. clipped/downloaded a 512m x 512m from a larger data set).

So, assuming one is working at 512 x 512 in L3DT( which needs power2 resolution), but need 505 x 505 in UE4. What is the optimal workflow?

(1) I could resize the HF, but that seems muddy?!

(2) CURRENT: I can crop each map by 3px on each side and resize to 505 x 505 and import in UE (UE X & Y scales at 100% (i.e. 1m/px, same as L3DT) and Z at 6.5137% (Z height/range of height-field (0 to 33.35) x 0.1953125 (given in UE4 Knowledgebase), which you can then lift if the bottom of the heightfield is different to 0))

Now, I want to start pulling in data from other fields -- so, I need to 'hand-ball' more outputs.

Question: Am I missing a trick? Is there a better way?
