I have exported a heightmap as a .3ds file many times..

I recently re-installed L3DT and now every time I try to export mesh as .3ds I get the following error and nothing exports.

Dear onlyonejourney,

I aplogise for this fault. The 3DS plugin has not bee rebuilt for the 64 bit version yet. It relies on a 3rd party library, for which I can only seem to get a 32-bit build. I will keep working on it, but in the mean-time you might need to install the 32-bit version of L3DT to use the 32-bit 3DS exporter. There should be no problems in having the 32 and 64 bit versions installed on the same machine. Alternatively, are there any other mesh formats that are supported by your target application (OBJ, DAE, etc?)

Best regards,
Aaron.

Ok, Hopefully I can find a work around.

If I only install the 32 bit, will it perform on my 64 bit os?.. seems like the easiest fix.

Hi Onlyonejourney,

I'm sorry for my slow reply. Yes, the 32 bit version should run just fine on your 64 bit system.

Best regards,
Aaron.
