Can somebody please explain the Water-table modelling ?

im having a bit of a hard time figuring out what all the variables in the Water-table modelling are there for and since there is basically nothing about it on the help page i thought id ask here.
- MaxDepth is pretty much self explainatory
- RiseParam im guessing how much the water rises when waves hit the shore
- FallParam no idea.
- LossParam no idea.
- Tolenrance im guessing making the waterline smoother if the beach is very bumpy something like that and would it be right to assume that lower values mean that the waterline goes with the beach more and goes paralel with all bumps etc.
Im asking because im trying to get a real smooth water line (i have my beach super smooth including the terrain falloff)
