CAzuriteDlg::LoadMesh error: invalid vertex buffer item time

Created a Design map using the wizard at a low resolution of 512px. Then made the Light and Texture maps x2 or 1024px and using tiles.

Just as a way to explore alternatives, I tried to export the Heightfield map as an .obj. Got the messaging saying that mesh was around 522 k triangles. Said yes to using the Mesh Decimator.

When clicking Preview..., got the following error:

CAzuriteDlg::LoadMesh error:
- invalid vertex buffer item time

Max. error (m) was at default 0.25 and Triangle count = 14.6k.

Funnying thing was that I continued through, hit ok, and mesh exported a'ok. Imported it into Maya, no problems. So guessing it might be a Azurite preview issue, maybe.

Cheers,

Philippe

Hi Philippe,

This was a bug in way the mesh decimator plugin fed the vertex/face buffers to the mesh viewer plugin. I've fixed it in L3DT Professional v2.7 build 7, which is on the downloads page now.

Best regards,
Aaron.
