Hi Marcoio,

I apologise for this fault. Please send me the log file (to aaron@bundysoft.com). To find the log file, go to the Windows Start menu and click on the following item:

All programs->Bundysoft->L3DT [version]->L3DT logs

With this log I should be able to work out what is going wrong.

Best regards,
Aaron.

Hi Marcoio,

I apologise for the delay in my reply, and thank you for the log file. Can you tell me if you find the same problem when you save the map project without exporting the heightfield? The log suggests this is a bug in the HFZ plugin, but I'd be quite surprised if that were the case. I'll test L3DT Standard now using your settings and see if I can reproduce this fault.

Thank you again for reporting this fault.

Edit: I tested L3DT Standard Edition in exporting a HFZ file of the same size and scale as yours, but could not find a problem. Can you export the heightfield using another format such as HFF? If so, please send me the heightfield as a HFF so that I can test the HFZ exporter using exactly your map.

Best regards,
Aaron.

Hi aaron,
Now (in 2.9.0.12 Std) it seem that the problem is gone. But when i save the project, althought saving is ok, L3DT gives this error message:

- FreeImage failed to save file 'C:\Documents and Settings\mpiletta\Desktop\Nuova cartella\MipMaps\TX\Mip2.png'

CExtDLL::SaveMapFile error
- call to DLL function 'SaveMapFile' failed

CMapGroup::SaveMapFile3 error:
- save failed

CMapGroup::SaveGroupAs error
- cannot save mipmap file for map 'TX'.
- Old name:
- New name: C:\Documents and Settings\mpiletta\Desktop\Nuova cartella\MipMaps\TX\Mip2.png
