DM editing doesn't always mark HF as dirty

Hi, hope you don't mind all these new threads!

I'm putting some time into using the design map to make a canyon. It's going well so far and I'm getting a feel for what the sliders mean for the output HF.

One thing I've found though is that using the edit DM tool to paint various settings doesn't appear to signal to the 'calc wizard' that the heightfield should be regenerated. I need to manually deselect the water map and enable the heightfield option.

It's a small thing, but it's a few extra clicks that are unnecessary and I guess you might also forget to do it one time and waste a lot of time generating other maps before you realised there was a problem.
