I create DM 32x32x0.5 it is 1x1km landscape.
Next, I resize DM to 16x16x1. It is (in theory) 1x1km landscape too, but Ruler Tool show me 2km in map Height and Width!

Metric dimensions is wery important for me.
What wrong?

Hi Leon,

I presume you've made the heightfield when the DM was 32x32. In this case, you've still got a 2048x2048 pixel heightfield, so when you set the resolution in the dialog to 1m you made the heightfield extents 2km x 2km. L3DT back-calculates the extents of all maps from the HF extents, so the DM covers 2km x 2km too.

The solution: Close your heightfield before you resize your design map.
