Can't combine alpha layers.

Version: Pro 2.5d build 7
Build date: 20-Jun-08

Vista x64, core 2 quad, 8GB ram.

I was able to reproduce this in admin mode and not.

when I try to use the drop down to conbine one texture into another I get the following error message.

CWizardPaneDlg_TX_Alpha::OnEndAlphaCombo error:
- cannot get AlphaID from TexEntry

Another thing I noticed is that the "Coverage" is set to 0.00% for all layers.

I can't use the atlas2 in blended mode with out this since atlas seems to only use 4 layers. ( per the tutorial )

Hi Scotti6666,

Can you please send me the log file? (to aaron@bundysoft.com) It's in the Windows start menu under 'All programs->Bundysoft->L3DT [version]->L3DT log file'.

Best regards,
Aaron.

Hi Scotti6666,

I've found and fixed the two bugs in the alpha map wizard (the zero coverage and the error when combining layers). I'm testing some other parts of L3DT now, and I'll post back here when the update is ready for download.

Best regards,
Aaron.

Hi Scotti6666,

I've uploaded a new developmental build of L3DT Professional (v2.5d build 9), which should fix the bugs in the alpha map wizards. I've tested it for a day or so, and can't find any other problems. Please let me know how it goes.

Best regards,
Aaron.

Looks good! The layer merge worked and the import worked.

The only problem I have now is there seems to be holes in the terrain because my player keeps falling through in spots. I guess I need debug the game engine and figure out whats going on.

Thanks for the quick fix!
