Aaron, in the climate files could you add the option of allowing us to use a random texture that will get blended in here and there on a particular land type?

This would allow for variation in terrain on flat land (grass) and some useful little cool things and whatnot.

The thing I'm asking for is much like what terragen uses to break up monotonous terrain.

Hi Forboding Angel,

Okay, I haven't done that exactly, but the new climate system does have some noise parameters, which means that you can instead make two very similar land types (with different textures) and have the noise switch from one to the other (the noise is via two perlin generators, BTW). I'll post some screenies shortly (next day or two).
