Absolute heightmap scale export?

I've been using L3DT to make custom terrain for the game overgrowth. Overgrowth uses a fixed height map scale, the greyscale value represents a constant altitude.

Right now my work around is to make control 'spikes' in the corner of the map. This sets the upper and lower limits of the greyscale so that the actual terrain will export at the same attitude each time.


Is it possible to set L3DT to automatically set the greyscale range based on a fixed altitude scale? I
