More tools and features needed for heightmaps

I'd like to see more tools for the height map, such as colour customisation similar to the design map

As I make height maps for programs doesn't really support underwater (or in fact, which doesn't support customisation of water and the landscape and in fact, the texture as well), It would be nice to have features which could tell you which parts of the height map would or wouldn't be underwater instead of the pure black and grey so that I could have a certain amount of degree that what would be produced would suit my needs. :)

Hi Bendragon,

The contour line display in the 2D view is supposed to do this; anything on the dark side of the red contour line is below sea level (0 metres elevation). However, you're using a sea-level that's greater than 0 for your maps, correct? In that case, the contour lines won't help much.
I'll pop this on the to-do list, and have a bit of a thinker about the easiest / most intuitive way to handle this. Thanks for the request.

Best regards,
Aaron.
