Design map pencil brush size

It doesn't hurt to ask...

Design map pencil brush size

Postby Sage » Fri Dec 16, 2005 7:17 am

Is there a way to change the brush size on the design map pencil? If not is it something that could be added down the road?

It can't be done in the current release, but it's on the dev plan.

Yes, please. :D

And don't be afraid to sneak some of us out a new EXE the moment you get this running. ;) Painting with a pencil is very hard, indeed. o_O

Aaaaaanyway. This is pretty much the only major concern I've had with the program: everything else is running very smoothly and powerfully. If we could just edit that darned brush size! :D

(And after that, we'll be demanding tablet support. ;))

I have to agree. I'm trying to learn how to modify the design map to get maps that have certain features I want, but when working with very large maps, the pencil tool is just too tiny to work with.

It'll take many many hours of pixel editing to get even basic geographical outlines in.

How do other people do this?

Hello,

I've put variable brush-size high on the to-do list for v2.4a.

Cheers,
Aaron.

Yup Yup,

I asked Aaron for that sweet feature a couple of months ago and he is working on it and I am sure it will be very awesome when he gets it done. I can't wait and he keeps adding goodies for us, and I for one am very impressed at his speed and brain power, it's way the fark up there    Totally cool 8)
