raise/lower by "threshold"

It doesn't hurt to ask...

raise/lower by "threshold"

Postby McNools » Tue Aug 23, 2016 4:59 pm

When making some dry riverbeds on my terrain I just felt like I needed a function where I can lower (or raise) the terrain by a set amount of metres, right now when just using the lower-tool the riverbeds can get pretty uneven quickly (and have some gaps in them etc.). Something like the "lower to"-tool but rather "lower by" would be very nice to keep things a bit even when painting riverbeds. This could also be useful for elevating the terrain for roads etc. I suppose :) (or making ditches next to roads etc.). I hope I explained this properly, I'm tired as heck and english isn't my first language so sometimes things don't come out clearly.

Also, I apologize if a function like this is already in the tool and I've just missed it somehow. :)

Hi McNools,

Thanks for the request. I've added this to my to-do list. I'll post back here when it's available, but it may take a while, as I've got a lot of active feature requests at the moment.

Best regards,
Aaron.
