Thanks for the bug report. I'll look into it.
The work-around should be to save your project before you create the texture map. Please let me know if this does not work.

Update: I've found and fixed the problem. A line of code had inadvertently been commented out, which meant that you weren't being prompted to save the project when creating a mosaic texture in an unsaved project using the 'Operations->Texture->Generate map' menu option. I, and presumably other users, hadn't noticed this fault because I (we?) normally use the calculation wizard to generate textures, which has its own prompt for saving the project. I'll include the fix in the next developmental build, which will be L3DT v2.8 build 11. I'll post back here when it's ready for download.
