Hi Aaron, I'm having a play around with the design map now in an effort to make functional terrains and not just pretty ones :)

Would it be possible to change the design map brush so that it only affects DM pixels within the currently selected area, like in Photoshop? Although there's the 'apply to all' button that's aware of selections - it would be more natural to work this way and save time adjusting brush sizes down to one pixel, etc. Plus it helps with the possibility of non-uniform brushes and/or selections in future ;)

Additionally, I thought a small but convenient workflow improvement would be if clicking the Edit button on the toolbar (or edit active layer from the menu) gave focus to the 'Design map brush' window (or water flood tool, etc.) if it was already open.
