CL3DTio_BackupApp::FinaliseEditRecord error:

Postby Philippe Le Miere » Wed Apr 01, 2009 9:33 am

I'm working in Design Map, sprite painting a map so that I can get the heights right of the mountains based on reference material. Every now and then the following L3DT Event Log pops up:

CL3DTio_BackupApp::FinaliseEditRecord error:
- edit record is not initialised

CL3DTio_BackupApp::FinaliseEditRecord error:
- edit record is not initialised

I just Hide it and keep working, and in fact everything seems ok. Just I guess it's a bit annoying after awhile, as it keeps popping up and I'm not sure why?

Hi Philippe,

Thanks for the bug report. I've managed to reproduce this bug by double-clicking the left mouse button when using the design map brush. I'll fix this for the next developmental build, and post back here when it's ready for download. Thanks again!

Best regards,
Aaron.

Hi Aaron,

You're welcome.

Yeah. I see what you mean. I'm actually painting the Design map using a Wacom Tablet. I just double clicked no the design map and, yeah, it brings that message up again.

Finding L3DT to be a fantastic little app for terrain generation. So glad my little bug report helped.

Thanks,

Philippe

Hi Philippe,

The fix is included in L3DT release 2.7 build 3, which is now on the downloads page under the 'developmental builds' heading. If you are using L3DT Pro, as I believe you are, you will find the download link in your sales receipt e-mail.

Please let me know if there are any problems, and thanks again for your help.

Best regards,
Aaron.
