importing of LWO

It doesn't hurt to ask...

importing of LWO

is really needed, obj when exported are way to big to run in games. while texture mapping is the bomb with id having megatexture support for terrains etc

easier way. 256x256 map is just the right size for a map and loads up in id game engine. just need the pro version for bigger textures

Hi zmodem,

Thanks for your request. I've added LWO to the plugin requests page.

Have you registered for a free trial of L3DT Pro?

Best regards,

hello. im just using the free version.

you can just export to a dx file and convert it to lwo. for the heightmap to work in games with map size : x4 y4, horiz scale 10.0+, if exported to a obj file you`ll need to inverse the model when openned in lightwave. so no real need for a import plugin,

for megatextures in id software games you need to use a seperate tool.

so ive wasted your time :)
