====== Metal patch settings ======
If you don't want to change the metal patch textures or metal values, you can skip this page and go to the [[tutorials:ta spring:aaron:featuremanager|custom feature settings]].
If you would like to customise the texture images or metal values of L3DT's metal patches, select the 'Metal patch settings' button in the //Spring Mapping Wizard//, highlighted below:

This will open the //Metal patch settings// window, shown below:

Here you can change the texture/metal settings for each of the four metal patches. The default patch settings are:
^ Patch # ^ Metal value ^ Patch texture ^
|  1  |  64  |  {{ :tutorials:ta_spring:aaron:metal0-alpha.png |:tutorials:ta_spring:aaron:metal0-alpha.png}}  |
|  2  |  128  |  {{ :tutorials:ta_spring:aaron:metal1-alpha.png |:tutorials:ta_spring:aaron:metal1-alpha.png}}  |
|  3  |  192  |  {{ :tutorials:ta_spring:aaron:metal2-alpha.png |:tutorials:ta_spring:aaron:metal2-alpha.png}}  |
|  4  |  255  |  {{ :tutorials:ta_spring:aaron:metal3-alpha.png |:tutorials:ta_spring:aaron:metal3-alpha.png}}  |
The other settings are:
^ Setting name ^ Default ^ Description ^
| Radius | 5 | The radius of the metal patch as it will appear in the final metal map. |
| Min. metal | 32 | The minimum metal value in the metal map. This sets the amount of metal that will be extracted by placing a metal extractor somewhere //other// than on a metal patch. |
With the metal map settings ready, you may now proceed to the [[tutorials:ta spring:aaron:featuremanager|custom feature settings]].
