The bulldozer brush lets you create a level pathway between two points. This can be useful for making roads, walls, dams or trenches. The bulldozer tool also automatically creates an embankment if the paththway is above the terrain, or a cutting if the pathway is below the terrain. Here is an example of the bullfozer brush in operation (left), and the results (right):

The Cliff Brush works somewhat similarly to the Lower To brush. When the tool is selected, you will be prompted for a height. This determines the height that will be the bottom of the cliff. Move the selector to the area where you want to make a cliff. The two discs show where the top and bottom of the cliff will be created. When the left mouse button is clicked the area highlighted by the circle will be “scraped away” and flattened at the base of the cliff.

The leveller brush allows you to create a flat line of terrain. Use the tool, left-click on the starting point on the terrain, then drag the mouse to the desired end-point, and release the mouse button, as shown below left. The tool will raise or lower all terrain in it's path to the height of the starting point, as shown below right. This tool is similar to the bulldozer tool, except that the height of the end point is always the same height as the starting point.

Note you can change rendering modes from the default wireframe to the polygon mode by pressing the 'M' key. However, often it is easier to see what you're doing with the wireframe mode when editing terrain.

The avalanche brush allows you to apply natural-looking cracking/tumbling erosion to areas of your map. Avalanche removes material from steep areas of your map, and allows it to tumble downhill until it settles at a flat spot. An example is shown below:
