Entries have closed in the March Image of the Month Competition, and I'd like to thank Demi and SGooding for their fine work. Somewhat unusually, the field is dominated by real-time images, with nary a TG2, Vue or Bryce render in sight. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing, as this month we have some pretty fine technology on display, including texture splatting, bloom shaders, procedural detail noise. In the order in which they were entered, we have:
- Blue Jelly Pond, by Aaron.
- Bumped, by Demi.
- Jaggedpeaks, by Demi.
- Blended terrain textures with a perlin bump map for detail, by SGooding.
- River number one, by Aaron.
Cheers,
Aaron.
