"Your activation key has expired"L3DT is giving me the message "Your activation key has expired" and is not allowing me to use it any more. Do I have to renew it or something?
Hi John,
Oops, it looks like I've got some more work to do on this. Your key should not have expired yet - in fact, when I use your activation key here it is still valid. Silly question: are your computer's date settings correct? Anyway, if you can't re-enter your activation code, you have to delete the licence key from the Windows registry. To do this, open regedit (start->run->regedit), go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER->Software->L3DT->L3DT->License and delete the default entry. This should nuke the key and allow you to re-enter the activation code when you next re-start L3DT. If this doesn't fix the problem I'll make a new key for you. Cheers, Aaron.
