Any and all chit-chat regarding L3DT.

Might have missed it ... but

Hello all,

I wanted to know where it is possible to rebind the keys when editing the surface with the tool object.

May be I'm not clear... :?

I create my map, then I click on Edit so I have a 3D view to edit the map.
The only trouble I have is ... I'm French. Nothing about my nationality (proud to eat cheese ! and order beer at the McDo  )... just my keyboard is not like yours.

You have a QWERTY keyboard, mine is AZERTY...

So when I use the keys to move, it's all scrambled because they are not at the same place...

Is there a way I can redefine the keys to I can have them at a logical & "natural" place ?

Thank you in advance,

Fandaor

Hi Fandaor,

Not a problem. The next release will support custom key bindings. Thanks for the suggestion.

Best regards,
Aaron.

Hi Fandaor,

On the Pro downloads page you'll find the installer for L3DT Pro 2.5.1.16. This version includes an updated version of Sapphire that supports custom keybindings. The keys may be set by selecting the 'Extensions->Sapphire->Renderer settings' menu option in L3DT, then going to 'UI->Keys' in the settings tree dialog box. Double-click on the sub-entries to edit the keys.

Best regards,
Aaron.
