export splat(alpha map) ARGB 32bit?

with pro how do i select this as I cant seem to find it in export options of alpha maps or as unity calls them splat maps

Hi ttimothy,

I apologise for the delay in my reply. Which file format do you require for Unity? L3DT can export 32-bit splat maps as PNG images* or TGA images. To export splat maps from Pro in these 32-bit formats, set the 'Layers per image' setting in the 'Alpha map options' wizard to 4, and pick either 'PNG' or 'TGA' from the 'Image file format' droplist (alpha map user guide).

* note: in RGBA order, not ARGB, which I don't think is supported by PNG, but I could be wrong. Functionally there's probably no difference in RGBA or ARGB, as layer ordering shouldn't matter for splat maps.
