My OS is XP Pro and my computer hardware config is:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+
2560MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT

I have been running the L3DTPro from Bundysoft using the downloaded atlas exporter. I could not figure out how to make the export to work right. I was told that in order for me to see the private forums on L3DT I would need to purchase the torque version. Now I cant even use it.

Can someone help please

Thanks

Hi Williamsong,

This problem occurs when you have had two versions of the same build (L3DT Pro 2.5.0.26 and L3DT for Torque 2.5.0.26) installed on the same machine, and then uninstall the first one of them. To fix this, delete the following directory:

C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\Bundysoft\L3DT\Pro 2.5.0.26

All settings will be restored from safe defaults when you next start L3DT.

Alternatively, you can fix this by opening up the 'Settings->File paths' dialog and redirecting the 'L3DT.IniDir', 'L3DT.Resources' and 'L3DT.ExtDir' to the correct paths for L3DT for Torque. However, the delete option is easier.

I will modify the storage paths for settings in the next release to prevent this problem from reoccurring. I apologise for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
Aaron.

Aaron,

I don’t have a \Application Data\Bundysoft\L3DT\Pro 2.5.0.26 in my Documents and Settings\[your user name]\.

The second process is not an option because the program will not run.

Any ideas.

Thanks

Ah, sorry. I forgot to mention that Windows XP hides that directory by default. To see it, you need to open File Explorer or 'My computer', and select 'Tools->Folder options...' in the menu. Then, select the 'view' tab, and click on the 'Show hidden files and folders' radio button. Click OK, and the directory should now be visible.
