Got a problem or need advice?

(2^n)+1 height field output

Hiya

Any way I can get L3DT to output heightmaps of size (2^n)+1 ? or should I re-sample the height map myself / duplicate edge vertices? (yup its for gmm)

Cheers

Hi Dave,

I'd suggest re-sampling. The design/inflate algorithm can only do sizes that are multiples of 64.

Cheers,
Aaron.

okie dokie, ill give both a shot and see which is best, im just a lil concerned that resampling might blur any high frequency features a tad - we'll find out soon! thanks for getting back to me so fast :)

Cheers
