design map brush tool wiki suggestionWithin the user guide, http://www.bundysoft.com/docs/doku.php?id=l3dt:userguide:tools:dm_brush It covers all of the basic tools, but wouldn't it be easier to understand if there was some standardisation of the heightmap that you're using (a generated heightmap using default settings can be used to create the design map for it), thus in theory, you can use a standardised heightmap to demonstrate how the different settings can affect the end result instead of comparing lots of different randomly generated design maps.
Re: design map brush tool wiki suggestionHi Bendragon1337,
Sure. The reason those pages have different maps on them was that they were written for, and are still used by, the user guide that deals with generating new design maps (see here). Indeed, now that you mention it, some of the pages linked from the DM brush page don't make any sense with the brush, since 'average altitude', 'altitude range', 'feature scale', 'noise strength' and 'noise shape' aren't available in the brush tool (just the DM parameters wizard). I'll pop this on my list of docs to fix. Best regards, Aaron.
