I've just fixed the last known show-stopping bug in L3DT 2.5 (black lines in texture), so we'll be moving ahead with the 'stable' release in the next week or so. Early adopters can download v2.5 now, which is listed on the downloads page as dev build v2.5 release candidate 3 (rev 4).
I'm a little bit paranoid about bugs in 'stable' releases now, so I'll be spending the next little while running a big batch of maps with really wacky settings to look for untested error conditions in all the algorithms, all the while clicking on strange options in the user-interface that I don't normally test. If you'd like to join me in this last double-check (and I'd really appreciate any help), please give RC 3.4 a run.
