Program crashes when camera is moved off the map

Description An exception is raised when the user moves the camera position off the map. This effectively locks the program, although it does still respond to some commands.
Root cause Unsafe coordinate mapping in L3DTVi2.
First observed 25th of May, 2005, when support for mosaic heightfields was reintroduced.
Bug status Still active. We need a Delphi programmer again!
Workaround Don't move the camera off the map.
